Transformed by the Spirit

January 7 & 8

As a pastor I have had the privilege of seeing people be transformed from when I first start studying with them to when they finally make the decision to follow Jesus all the way and be baptized. I observe their journey as they come to the place where they not only see and understand the truth but also fall in love with Jesus who is the truth. Then their desire becomes to live their lives according to the truth. This happens because they have opened their lives to the working of the Holy Spirit. This transformation process is one God wants to continue throughout your lifetime through the working of His Spirit. It is not something that is necessary for us to understand. But, it is up to us to choose to allow the Holy Spirit to do His work in us. Daily we must seek the Word of God. He has given you the promise, “Seek and you will find”, claim it. Daily we must commune with God in prayer. Again, you’ve been given the assurance, “if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” Trust Him; believe Him, for today is the only day you have to allow God to work in your life. Take this moment right now and invite the Holy Spirit into your life to do His work of transformation.

Have a great day! Thank you for spending some time considering these thoughts.
